About us
A studio school built for people who work in motion.
stagezenix is a professional resource for studio production in the UK, covering equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting, sound and the workflows behind television news and live shows.

Our story
stagezenix began with a simple observation: most studio skills are learned in the gallery, under pressure, with little time to ask questions. We wanted to give new and returning crew a place to practise first.
Today our small cohorts rig cameras, light sets, balance sound and run full rundowns together. Our tutors work in broadcast every week, so lessons reflect how UK newsrooms and live shows really operate.
What we believe about good studio work
Learn by doing
Every session happens on a working studio floor, with cameras moving and the clock running.
Workflow first
We teach the order of a studio day so each task flows into the next without a scramble.
Craft over gadgets
Great light, clean sound and steady shots come from technique, whatever the equipment.
Crew communication
Short, clear talkback and mutual trust keep live productions calm and on time.
Taught by working broadcast crew
Our floor managers, camera operators, lighting designers and sound supervisors share the habits that keep studios safe and productive, from pre-show checks to the final wrap.
